CHILD CARE OPTIONS

One of the primary struggles a single parent faces is taking care of a child while also dealing with work. You're at work and you get a call that your child is sick. What do you do? You cannot just leave the office. Or what if you need to pull overtime at the office and your child gets out of school before you can be home. Who is going to be home to take care of them and help with homework?

Some options that can help are day cares and babysitters; these options are not exactly cheap. However, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has an organization called the Office of Child Care that can hekp you find the right type of care your child needs, help you pay for that child care, or help you find a local Head Start program and see if you qualify!
